Love You a Ton

Although it feels like my heart is broken in two,
It's times like these that I sit and remember you.
You're in a better place now,
Where every knee will bow
For our father,
For we are his sons and daughters.

I remember all the times we would play teacher,
You were my student and I was the preacher.
Chicken noodle soup never tasted so good,
Until the times that you would,
Heat us up a bowl,
That was so good for our soul.

You always gave the best hugs,
And encouraged us never to do drugs.
You were such a godly woman,
Always caring for the children.
You taught me how to be a witness,
No matter what the sickness.

I know Heaven is celebrating,
They just gained a new angel.

Thank you for all you've done,
I love you a ton.
