Loved Lessons

I left a promise in the rivers to drown

Along with us from the mountain top down

Then I clipped the wings from the red bird we blew

Now but nature sings that of a broken tune;

I fired missiles from the alter where we said I do

Released the butterfly born of love's caccon

Then I sat with bitterness long after you

And dined with hindrance of almost through

I mightily wrestled with precious and gloom

Attempting to outweigh pros your crafty con drew

The balance is made and if the universe is true

For this we can't hate from the lessons it grew
