Loveless Marriage

I am trapped in a loveless marriage,

These four walls hold me in,

My brain in holy matrimony with my scarred and rotting skin.

I am trapped in a loveless marriage,

With a body I don't know,

I face it in the mirror... I bare the burden of its woes,

I am trapped in your holy bible,

I am the verses that you read,

I am nothing... I am something... I am what you will believe.

I am trapped in a loveless marriage,

These four walls rot my skin,

Bruises black and golden lining skin that's paper thin.

I am trapped in a loveless marriage,

With a woman I've never met,

Even though I do not know her she is the only friend I've kept.

I am trapped in an endless cycle,

Take me home I'm feeling sour,

Under water in my bath tub for countless numbing hours.

I am trapped in a loveless marriage,

With a woman named"Myself,"

Who treats me very poorly and ignores my cries for help.
