Love’s Nature

Free yet bound by the heart's desire,
Passion never ceasing like a raging fire,
Who says stopping that passion is right?
They haven't found their one for whom they'll fight,
The one who gives unrelenting strength and will,
Yet shows us compassion and weakness still,
The light to our dark,
The bite to our bark,
One who we'd go through all the pain,
Even if it means going insane.
They are worth it all,
Regardless the flight or the fall.
To be by their side is what matters most,
Even when we all turn to that of a ghost.
To none but the laws of love we abide,
For love is one feeling that we cannot ever hide,
Nor should one wish it to conceal,
For then destiny can never congeal.
Though pieces may show,
The complete future we can never know.
Best to let love's nature take its lead,
For only then can one truly succeed,
Not only with matters of the heart,
But with every wish made from the start.
