Lovesick Man

She loves me so deeply
I don't understand
I love her the same way
Still, I'm a lovesick man

Maybe comes from another time
The scent of hickory's on my mind
Got a taste in my mouth, sweet, not bitter, not bland
Don't know why I'm still a love sickman

I love her so deeply, whenever she cries
Try my best to dry the tears in her eyes
When we kiss, she takes me to la la land
Don't know why I'm still a love sickman

Her love is real, her love is true
I feel the same way, I'm telling you
If she ever leaves me, I'm folding my hands
This would be the end of a lovesick man

Could come from another time
The scent of hickory's on my mind
Maybe not enough love in this land
Is why I'm still a lovesick man
