Lucid Expression

I grip
at the ground that surrounds me
The scene swirls around me
so profoundly
Vividly defining myself
with lucid expression
Narrowing my focus
and paying strict attention
It doesn't bother me much
As I lock eyes
with passersby
Cause I now have found
the cure
by a thought that knows no boundaries
and the light that shines so brightly in the dim corners of my mind
what wise statements to be made
that is more than truth to me
The loveliness of finding quiet places inside
where our hearts confide
Splattered indigo
and scented lavender fabrics decorate my space
While lace-like leafs spread delicately across my face
I am safe.
