Lunchtime at the Drive Thru

It's lunchtime at the drive thru
There are 44 people lined up
All waiting
As golfers swing balls at the adjacent course

It's lunchtime at the drive thru
And one by one
They swab their noses
For 10 precious seconds

The pandemic
Is these quiet moments at the drive thru
As a murder of crows
Fly across the golf course

The pandemic
Is the golfers swinging at balls
Having executive time
As we swab our noses
