Luwanda Dipton liked to shave mice;
She'd catch them with tweezers and a bowl full of rice.
Their hair she would take and then dye it red,
Tiny wigs she would make to put back on each head.
How quickly all ten fell in love with their cage-
For Luwanda taught acting, dancing and stage!
Broadway bound were these talented mice,
but Ms. Dipton (now manager) was not very nice.
Luwanda had changed, all thought her a meanie;
So, the mice they fired her, faster than speedy!
Out on her rump in a town far away,
Luwanda thought, "Cats! Cats can star in my new horror play!"
"It will be about teasing and murder, and mice that are dead-
About hair that is bloody. Not merely dyed red!"
Evil laughter then echoed and without dilly-dally.
she captured ten cats from the nearest dark alley.
