Lying In Wait
The lives of most
Intertwine with those;
Yes, those who propose
That we make a toast.
A toast to the rights
We've done to wrong
Our wrongs, in such a way
So our rights write our songs.
Allow me to suppose
Those of which you've told
Are not what make your holy ghost
Nor does it show that your folly is the most
Incredible and inevitable fate
That lies in wait
Within your shallow, murky traits
That viciously and carnivorously makes
You traditionally and overly a fool.
Remember to never allow victims to choose
But allow them to be wooed
For your great hunger knows no fools yet only you.
Intertwine with those;
Yes, those who propose
That we make a toast.
A toast to the rights
We've done to wrong
Our wrongs, in such a way
So our rights write our songs.
Allow me to suppose
Those of which you've told
Are not what make your holy ghost
Nor does it show that your folly is the most
Incredible and inevitable fate
That lies in wait
Within your shallow, murky traits
That viciously and carnivorously makes
You traditionally and overly a fool.
Remember to never allow victims to choose
But allow them to be wooed
For your great hunger knows no fools yet only you.

´Lying In Wait´ is meant to explain the story of a guy who use to be like a brother to me, but betrayed me through a course of actions, that although are forgiven, left an endless amount of hurt in the women that I know today as friends and sisters. He was a womanizer and was the type of guy to not give any care in the world to women, which irked me slightly. I am not a victim, but I´m not a passerby either. In hopes that he grows past this immature, irrational behaviour, I hope and pray the best for him.
