Make a Wish

Sometimes I sit and look up at the stars,
Glisten bright, they wink as I watch from afar.
So beautiful against the dark black obis;
I find myself making one magical wish.

If you wish upon the first star you see
It could come true no matter what it may be.
It might sound silly, but why not just try?
Just close your eyes tight and let your biggest dreams fly.

You can wish for the love your heart deprives,
Or for your family to live happy lives.
If you let your mind free and wish away
You’ll know you made the right decision one day.
