Make Art Not War
As I lay I think of the world around me,
The politics and the way people talk, I see,
I see humanity tearing itself apart,
Border wars start and we all end up covered in red.
Shred by shred, we all end up dead.
So what's the point of war?
Why are we going to fight,
If it prevents us from sleeping at night?
We send our brothers and sisters to battle
Trying to save the world from each other
But think of your mother.
Think of the son she lost
When you picked up a gun
And sent your soldiers to run
At the enemy, the target.
With every action
There's an equally devastating reaction.
So don't make war. Make art.
