Mamma

You always used a firm hand,
And didn't know how to show me your love.
You were constantly ridding my ass,
So perfect I'd become.

No matter how hard you ride someone,
You can't change the out come,
Of who I'll be.
But momma your gonna be proud of me.

You always gave me all tough love,
Than say I was sent from above,
Right from God put here for you.
Now I'm out on my own,
Trying to learn on my own,
How to love my family so they'll see,
I've only had tough love, so hold on a little extra just for me.
