Man vs virus

Man thought he was tough
He did stuff really rough
Often there was no room
For anything else but gloom
His heart pulsed with rage
His mind full of haze
He threw away empathy
For beings he considered not fit for his sympathy
But now he is being bullied
By the air that is supposedly sullied
He now fears teeny weeny germs
Oh see how he squirms
At least now may he think
That he might ultimately sink
Ways to go before dawn
A right to live in every being born
