Man steps with pride and faith
A golden crown he does don
With wings of light he fly's so high
His work below a toil of triumph
He feels he's king of his domain
He's evolved he does proclaim
He never boasts yet flexes his chest
He's more civilized than the rest
For the wild serves his every wish
Defined by logic he does think
The creatures weak and less than me
For I discovered fire and the wheel
And my love is higher too you'll see
Even God is on my side
And I govern with such might
I can choose not to decide
Or believe not to believe
For I am master of my world
And my wisdom is gracious to
As I look up the heaven's they smile
But looking down those hooves remain
