Marigolds and Diamonds

Love through a porcelain glass case
exposes the evil in it before we try to attain it
I cry as I'm seperated from comfort
I have to watch the end of era
I have to watch a homeless man beg
I have to watch the blind try to see
Marigold and Diamonds
they are so much better than this
Back to Basics
Apologies are useless
Abandonment is sealed
Tears are stains on the canvas of you
Attempting to fix it, makes it worse
You tore a hole don't make it bigger
Marigolds and Diamonds
they are so much better than this
Back to Black
Amy Whinehouse knows how to caress
the feelings of the troubled
Where has the light gone!
It's far from here
Let's get back there
Happiness is where you left it
Marigold and Diamonds
