Marry Me

How I wish you were completely mine,
That big "M" word rings in my head,
As we like snuggled up in the bed,
And even when you are not here,
That thought rings loud and clear,
How I wish you would ask,
Why to you is it such a task?
Why won't you fully commit?
When you know for the long haul I'm fully in it,
I know we've had our troubles,
But then it seems the strength of our love doubles,
Why can't you see?
I'm waiting for you to ask me,
What must I do?
To be worthy of that to you?
I know our age makes it unconventional,
But obviously I didn't want conventional,
Baby please?
Marry me?
