Mary Lennox

A garden she sees in her dreams.
A young girl-
A Robin-
A key.
A young girl finds happiness in mystery-
While the Robin tells her stories of afar.
Tulips, daisies, even the dandelions smile at her
The garden loves this little girl,
Just as she loves thee.
The angry moon becomes jealous over their happiness-
He takes away their sunlight.
The little girl is not afraid and knows what she must do.
She kisses the Robin goodnight
Tells the Tulips, daisy's, even the dandelions
That she will come back with the sun.
Pulls a key from her pocket
And closes the secret door behind her
In the morning
Mary will awake
To visit her secret garden once more.
