Masks

What are you wearing?
How can you see
through the small openings
of what you perceive?
You miss a lot, dear.
You miss emotion
Sadness and fear
and going through motions.
If the world sees that plaster mold
then how do they know what's left untold?
If we can't see you screaming for help
then how will you live happy and well?
Do you realize that when you can't see us
we can't see you?
How can we get to know you
when you always try something new?
If you need people in your life
let us see you, don't cover your strife.
You deserve to be happy.
You deserve to be you.
So don't live with fear.
Live with pride.
