May Love Be Gone

When I look back at the times of the past
I realize I have but what I start
In essence of life but one thing does last
When a look gaze into my bleeding heart
To see we have but one thing which to live
My heart does ache for the love that I missed
In searching of our lives our heart to give
In the work of our lives another's kiss
But must we settle for life's unfair lot
The world must be cold the empty we feel
Like a farmer working an empty plot
We hide and try to seal the way we reel
The essence of love makes us lose our gait
But even in this end know I shall not wait
