May ones beauty marred by time’s unforgiveness

May ones beauty marred by time's unforgiveness
Flourish with a persistence unmattered from thy creed
Let no crooked hand extinguish thy candle
Or let a broken heart's preaching blemish your love
Let your footsteps reach far into the unknown
Walking the misty hillside while heaven's raindrops fall
There exists no god to travel your path for you
Or answer conjecture from a time where nobody knew
With your lantern in hand reveal your own trail ahead
For answers lie in life, not in the books
And may your road's end count for every step
