Me

There used to be a sparkle in the darkness of my eyes
A light that kept me going
Even in the darkest of times
The thought of death is soothing now
For the light is now long gone
It is time I take my final bow
At the earliest of dawn
For when I was a child
I used to laugh and sing
But now my soul runs wild
As the piercing death bells ring
There used to be a sparkle in the darkness of my eyes
But now there’s nothing left
For my soul breaks down and cries
