Me and The Moon

I am one with the moon as I gaze upon it
It stares back at me with reassurance
The man on the moon always says Hello
He lets me know I am not alone
But today I don’t greet him back
It’s not like the others days
My eyes are teary and their red
I tell the man on the moon I just wanted to say goodbye
