Me First

Oh God when I die please take me first.
Only my wife can quench love's thirst.
Please take me first so I cannot feel,
The sorrow and grief I know are so real.
God I know this sounds selfish and weak.
Please give me strength if she's first you seek.
My heart would be full of so much pain.
To not follow you, makes our love in vain.
I'm so blessed to have her in my life.
Thank you God for sending my wife.

Bye,
Kris Clarke
