Me you and the seasons

We fell in love during a summer song
And throughout the seasons
It was a firework, a love and an air weightlessness
We danced through the time
You were still the same type of sunshine
But soon I had to show you
Show you my darkest nights
The rain clouds that eclipsed your light
You said you loved me, and my blue hues
Loved my slow dizziness of my mood
Loved toeing the edge of okay
Then soon enough You didn’t
You called it a dry heave of effort
A flood of tittering consciousness
An Arctic battleground
I’m sorry that you thought you could
But
You couldn’t love the depression out of me
But that’s okay, it was always okay
Because in the end
I still love me
