Every now and then,
I remember that day.
Where a sunny morning,
Became completely grey.

Who would've thought,
It would end that way?
That a six year old boy,
Would have to carry that weight.

What started as a trip,
To go see a movie.
Would turn out,
To be all gloomy.

Seeing that hooded man,
Just shoot you down.
Filled me with hate that,
It's almost as if I've drowned.

Fifteen years later,
And I still can't forget.
It gets harder,
Not to get upset.

There's also one thing,
That for you I vowed.
That's to someday,
Make you feel proud.
