Memories fade

With the age, our memories fade
I have braced myself , for that heartache
Glad for those who stayed
And for others, sorry I am getting late
The life of hills and plains, which i always skate
This monotonous life has thought me hate
Upon a time of virus and plague
Liberal hearts were caged
Soothed all my nerves that frayed
Nothing came to my aid
Asking all to wake. As the time is linear and would never wait
For all the hurdles along the way are just a bait
But with courage you walk, its just a straight
