memories for just moments

Like a pebble piercing water line plateau falls weightlessly
purposely down dives effortlessly and perfectly
passing right by sparkly tingly bright bubbles screaming
towards the surface
busting through and breaking wide open releasing all
so this then is the way to approach each day
by letting everything good and bad
pass right on through
notice it all but don't get a grip
bad does wound and good passes too quick
holding on prison traps
and closes the heart
Capturing a moment cuts you off from the present
closing up after a wound traps the hurt
where it ferments
there is no protection in this line of thought
traps the heart and keeps it caught
