Memory

Your mind is gone now and I know you can't help it,
your a beautiful role model and everyone you've met has felt it,

You were once so lively, full of joy,
but now you can't even remember the name of your baby boy,

You had so many great memories,
but I guess Alzheimer's took it away,
but it didn't take away the fact that you could brighten anyones day,

in a couple of years you won't remember me,
I just want you to know how much you mean to me,

even though you have many flaws,
I'm so proud to call you my grandma.
