Everyone remembers letting go of a balloon
Watching it fly high in the sky
Planning out all the adventures it will go on
And watching with amazement
As it rises until you cannot see it anymore
But do you ever think about what happens when it lands?
The adventures it goes on has to end at some point
And as it slowly sinks down, back to earth
Maybe it’s thinking of you
Trying to find you somewhere, in a land far away
As it deflates, it’s picturing your face
Losing hope as it loses air
