Michael

On a darken path in the middle of the night
you searched for hope in the distant light

In a field of flowers you walked alone
in search of a scent you once had known

At the edge of a riverbank on a warm summer's day
your mind just couldn't chase the memories away

If I could turn back the pages of life's big book
I would give you back all the thing's that it took

Now in my hand I hold yours and pray to keep
my baby brother as I watch you sleep

Your soul is now healing for God and His Crew
are working night and day to make a miracle of you

Go on now, my little childhood friend
I will see you in everything, until we meet again
