Midnight Forest

Midnight in the forest, not a sound to be heard throughout the woods
The moon's gentle light, spreading her wings around the forest
The leaves fall upon glass-like water, ripples getting sent around
Her mother so kind yet very cruel, she's everywhere but nowhere
The wind dancing through the branches, graceful yet crisp
Dawn in the forest, the forest alive with the sounds of animals
