Mindful Trees

Our minds are like trees,
Branching out from the core,
Reaching for something more,
Swaying with the changing breeze,
A great informant of natures will,
Sometimes split down the middle,
Unsure of which path to seize,
Growing to our designated height,
The rest of our life in sight,
Even though we sometimes freeze,
All throughout its best to grin,
'Cause when we all share the light within,
The axe can strike and we fall with ease.
