Minds of Mine

By Ava

Minds of mine

Minds are like parachutes
ready to function in open,
but
control leads to the dying of all desires,
and soul sings no more.
Constant is the knocking of my mind
asking me to rest forever, though
a little part screams, "it is not the time,
it is not the time and the time will come never."

Dreams are like waves never ending and never stopping,
but
living up to every desire is like encase
inbetween a rock and a hard place

Small and big, dreams are like far cry from
very different and are of different form but
suppress it and it will stamp down your living
and devour up your everything.

Wishes, dreams are like the oxygen
in our monotonous existence, cause
when it is rake-off our living is in vain
and soulless form is a cruel beingness
