Mirrored Kaleidoscope


Many pieces of me, over time,
together in years,
Made up of different shapes,
Sizes and colors, refined.

At a twist of fate, brought about by hope,
Surrounded by a universe of dreams,
I peek through to the past,
all held together in my mirrored Kaleidoscope.

Each turn brings a different moment in time to life,
some very dark, some very bright;
While others make the reflection
look so pretty or not so very nice.

Each shape holds a piece of this being that is me,
suspended in a mirrored reflection,
that time holds together,
to make a bigger picture,
in this life that is now to be.

This mirrored Kaleidoscope,
suspended on the shelf of infinity,
holds the secrets to a universe,
that makes each space in time
all part of something greater,
in this world
I am yet to see...
