Misery and Gloom

Freedom comes with a price,
Hundreds of thousands have died to hand you your rights.
Woes plague the world, traveling from person to person.
Oh, how I wish I would change the world!
Free the suffering,
Cure the sick,
Feed the hungry,
Need I say anymore?
Hatefulness spreads like wildfire.
Oh, how I wish I could make people see!
The most damaging thing in the world is us,
We have destroyed our environment and the things inside it.
Why can't you see!
Oh, how hard it is to find joy and peace in this mess we've created.
Alas, we have no one to blame except for ourselves.
Oh, how I wish I could change the world!
Too bad it won't change by just little old me.
