Miss madi jane

Madison jane
Was anything but plain
She lived on west mulberry lane
Many things could be said about miss madi jane
But one thing was for sure she had shoes on the brain
Everyday a new pair she would gain
And when she wasn't wearing a particular pairing
She wrapped them all in cellophane
To protect them from getting staines
Madison jane
Are you insane
Have your golden curls twisted your brain
To this she exclaimed
"Dear friends please do not complain"
"I am shoe queen and I must continue my reign"
What might make miss madi abstain
Not a leg strain nor acid rain
She thought that it was perfectly sane
To constantly have shoes on the brain
She thought that without them she would feel pain
And that life would become hopelessly mundane
One day a powerful hurricane
Washed them all off the lane
