Missing More Than Half
I have lost a heart indeed
Long ago in my teenage years;
And I just can't help but need,
The love and sleep for my cure.
I'm can't mourn for such an event
Because this is not a funeral she's still here;
Maybe it was all a dumb preset,
Either way she is nowhere near.
People say let it go and throw it all away
They clearly don't know what pain is simply;
Because hearing that makes my heart fray,
Knowing how love can leave you cold so quickly.
I definitely don't want absolution
I want my heart to realize something;
That once you came I underwent a transformation,
One I knew would signify somethings coming.
