I’m here to stay
I came to play
People talk bout my past
They judge me cause I’m an open book
But y’all mistaken there’s another book hidden on shelf
Disguising my self worth
Masking my pain
Trapping the sorrow

Im a master at getting my heart broke
Committing is one thing I’m a afraid to say
Pain trapped down from my past haunts me and I feel entitled to a life of luxury
Even tho I can’t find the heart to walk up those stairs

I’ve tried to be a singer I’ve tried to be and actor but I’m running out of chances I know I’m hurting but I have to do this for my self is I don’t my self worth going to Stay on a shelf
If I don’t trapping hiding this book the shelf would be a waste of time
