My mother had told me to always keep them closed
I left them open
She had told me to keep them on,
but I took them off
So now I'm here, with my mistake
One that will rip my life to shreds,
Destroy all that I've created,
but it also has the power to provide me pure joy
My intuition convinced me that I was mature enough to
do it
Then, I realized, I never thought about the
consequences that came with it
Now I have a burden inside me
The child is mine, and I am it's mommy
I had a future, many life goals
And I let a boy, who only craved my body take them away,
and change them
I opened my legs, and let my childhood be taken
