Mom

Mom this mom that,
Is all I hear from the seats in the back,
Shut up, sit down, and buckle back up,
"NO", they say,
"I WANT TO SIT UP FRONT."
Mom this, mom that,
I hear as I lay in bed,
"Mom JUST NEEDS FIVE MINUTES,"
"NO", they say, "PLAY THE GAME WITH US INSTEAD."
Mom this, mom that,
"HE'S MESSING WITH ME,"
"WHY CAN'T YOU TWO BE CORDIAL AND JUST LET MOM BE."
Mom this, mom that,
Is all I hear all day,
I wouldn't change it for the world,
But sometimes mom STILL needs a BREAK.
