Mom: The Best Medicine

Roses are red violets are blue
I'm bad at poems but I'll write one for you.
We have had our tears we've had our fights
But through the years it's been alright.
I know it's hard, being MY mom
But just so you know you did a good job.
And even when the hardships arise
You're always here right by my side.
And I hope you know when things are blue
I will also be right here for you.
Having a daughter puts you to the test
But I will try to remember that you know best.
When I am old, when my youth is done
I'll still remember you're number one.
And someday when our days are through
I hope you'll know that I love you.
