Monsters under my bed,
Talks to the voices in my head.
You say I'm crazy.
I say why can't they be friends.
A man in my closet watches me sleep.
The voices tell me he does not speak. Crazy you say.
Voices in my head play with the monsters under my bed.
Man in my closet just lost his head. Crazy you say.
I say voices please don't be dead.

This Poems Story
I started writing one day out of the blue. "Here Without You" was my first poem, it was published in 2006. I have only been writing ten years and I have had several of my poems published through poetry contests. My inspiration comes from many things: family, new and lost love, death and depression. Poetry helps me express myself. It helps me deal with everyday life and struggles. I do it because it makes me feel alive. When people read my poems and relate to it that makes me feel even better to know I'm not alone.
