Morning Has Broken

Fluorescent colors brush the air
The blush reaches out
And the ocean pulls back

The chirps open the eyes
The twigs stretch out
To touch the ocean

The creaking of hinges
Is among the intake of breath
That allows the mind to wonder

The chirping transforms to bickering
The fluorescent colors become darkness
And all is still once again
