Mother is God
Whom I need not pray
And yet she listens all my unsaid prayers.
Mother is friend
Whose heart I need not touch
And yet she visits my heart everyday.
Mother is boss
Whom I need not submit
And yet she supervises me uncomplainingly.
Mother is subordinate
Whom I bombard with my desires
And yet she fulfills them unquestioningly.
And, above all
Mother is colleague
With whom I share the grievances
Against our employer called Life.

This Poems Story
This poem is inspired by my mother who is a role model to me. My mother is medical doctor, and all her life she performed not only her professional duty with full dedication but also her personal duty.
