Mother Earth

I can feel the heart of the earth breaking,

Cringing away from mistakes we are making.

Desperatly trying to forfeit our lives,

Take back what's hers, send us to the skies.

she acts with the instincts of a mother,

Trying to win back the land from another.

The other, whose children die in the streets,

The other who watches and won't even speak,

As thier people starve, shrivel and die.

The other that makes poor mother earth cry.

Can't you see that the other is just you and me?

We care not for another, can't you feel? Can't you see?

Never will our true mother understand or forget,

Only when she crumbles, will we finally end this.
