Mother Earth
The Earth known as Mother is trying very hard
But she can't fix this alone, and no one is doing their part
Her knees have grown weak from our weight on her soil
Her head always dizzy from extracting most of her oil
And from that oil, the smog has tarnished her lungs
And her flesh always wounded from our missiles and guns
Her hands have grown weak from holding the pressure
She's slowly dying, become lesser and lesser
The children she's loved and given a home
Has forgotten her kindness and left her alone
But she can't fix this alone, and no one is doing their part
Her knees have grown weak from our weight on her soil
Her head always dizzy from extracting most of her oil
And from that oil, the smog has tarnished her lungs
And her flesh always wounded from our missiles and guns
Her hands have grown weak from holding the pressure
She's slowly dying, become lesser and lesser
The children she's loved and given a home
Has forgotten her kindness and left her alone
