Mother Found Me in a Dumpster [ VI ]

Mother Found Me in a Dumpster [ VI ]

[ VI ]
Untruths and innuendo now are known as alternative facts
Mother watches sadly as her nation bends and then cracks
The elected guardians from QAnon and goons from Alt-Right
Are paving a narrow spurred path of deception and fright

QAnon with conspiracies, the Alt-Right with their guns
March in her cities calling on her daughters and sons
‘Let's take back our country. Dark ones are the baddest.’
‘Damn Mexicans and Immigrants and Islamic Jihadists’

Repeating false claims and flawed logic, the QAnon public
Flatter radical extremists hell bent on destroying the republic
They emboldened White Supremacists in full battle regalia
To march armed and ready to divide our Mother America

I thanked her for pulling me free, but then I didn't know
That as she held me Mother feared that I could grow
To be a right wing, white thing, Alt-Right Chumpster
So Mother threw me back into the dumpster

‘The sacking of the Capital is proof positive that what we thought was dangerous
is indeed very, very much so. Those outlets that propagate lies to their audiences
have unleashed insidious and uncontrollable forces that will be with us for years.’

James Murdoch, statement after January 6/22

'I say this to my Republican colleagues ...
there will come a day when Donald Trump is gone, but your dishonor will remain.'

Rep. Liz Cheney, (R) June 9, 2022

    This Poems Story

This is number [ VI ] of six parts. I have chosen to add the statements of both James Murdoch and Rep. Liz Cheney, (R) because I believe they both said it far better than I ever could have. I have also listed the names of the people who died because of this event. I see them as definitely as victims of misinformation. Without the lies and innuendo they all might still be alive. The perpetrators may never be held to account for these deeds and deaths.
