Mother Nature

It's sad to say but our Mother is dying,
so of her gifts we must stop relying,
We've massacred her pets and ravaged her garden,
now her discipline is beginning to harden,
She's given fair warning killing millions with ease,
using floods typhoons and disease,
We must act now before nothing is left,
except pain suffering and regret,
We must realise her resources will run out,
even if it's 100 years or thereabout,
We can start now it's not too late,
to stop the carnage we create,
We can replace the trees and stop the wars,
it can be like it was before,
Lush green lands where animals are free,
we need to stop the anger and greed,
If we change one thing at a time,
off her deathbed our Mother may climb
