Mother Nature ( World War I)

Mother Nature ( World War I)
As I lie in wait for the time to strike
Waiting here in the trenches is like being buried alive
And waiting to die
With lives on the line, we wait for mother nature to take her course
Exposed to the elements many brave men have already perished
Already in their graves, 8 feet down
Forever Heros, our heroes
Forever remember and commended
Forever laid to rest among mother nature
As we say goodbye to good men
Whose fate came all too soon
Our fallen comrades with their radiant smiles
Forever stay in my mind
As I breathe my last and mother nature call her child home
I know I too will be remembered as a hero
