Mother/Daughter

A mother and her daughter
What a sweet thing to hear
The love between the two
Must be endless and secure

My mother has a cold
I went away for the week
I needed money for college
She quit her job

She needs things that are three meters away
I become deaf for the day
I tell her “I love her”
She sends me to the clinic.

My hair is looking bad
She made plans with her friends
She lost her wallet
I hid it further under my bed

Oh a mother and a daughter
Who knows what they’re really like
